I n partnership with Microsoft Philanthropies, Job-Link is one of Nigeria’s fastest growing human resource development companies, with its headquarters at 8 Kingsway Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. The company has a network of over 200,000 jobseekers from all states in Nigeria and over 500 top companies as clients. Job-Link continues to focus on its main objective of reducing the unemployment rate in Nigeria by connecting candidates to jobs in diverse industries. To date, over 10,000 jobseekers have been connected with employers.

In addition to recruitment services, Job-Link specialises in human capital development. Our employability trainings are designed to ensure all candidates have the soft skills required to excel at interviews and keep the jobs we connect them with. Certificates of attendance are given at the end of the training which candidates can add to their resumes and profiles to boost their chances of attracting employers. More than 2,000 people have been trained at our 150 seater training centre in Ikoyi with very encouraging success stories, published on our website. Below is a snapshot from a trainee:

I want to say a big thank you for the employability training. The training has helped me rediscover myself in other ways I never thought possible. It has also brought out the confidence I never knew existed in me, I must say that my attitude, self-confidence, and emotional intelligence has been rejuvenated. Thank you and God will continue to empower you (in all wise) to empower us in return.

Motivated by the impact our employability training has had and the vast demand for the service from youths and unemployed people across Lagos, Job-Link has embarked on a program to give career counseling and CV reviews to 20,000 people a year, for the next 5 years. The initiative is in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment.

Job-Link has also partnered with Kwano Water to build water wells nationwide, starting with 60 local community centers in Lagos. The initiative will provide clean, drinkable water for the youths in widespread local governments and also sustain the local communities and families who will be able to access the water to bath, wash and drink for free. A borehole with taps will be engineered, for easy drawing of the water by the local community.

In light of Job-Link’s social impact, the company has won 8 awards including the Award for Exceptional Contribution to Youth of Lagos State presented by the Deputy Governor of Lagos State; Africa’s Best Quality Job Solutions Provider and Best Technology Company in Recruitment at the Technology Awards. Mary Dinah has been conferred with an honorary Fellowship at the Institute of Brand Management Nigeria and the company was featured on BBC, CNBC Africa, Forbes Africa, Spice TV, Pulse NG, This Day Newspaper, The Punch, The Guardian, Vanguard, Business Day, The Leadership and The Nation. In 2017, Job-Link won the Social Impact Award given by the British Council.
