Who we are
JobLink Nigeria is an independent jobs, internships, scholarships and grants information website. We link visitors to original employers and official programme sites; we do not operate their recruitment systems.
Information you choose to send
If you use our contact form, we save your email, chosen subject and message so the editor can review and respond. If you report a vacancy, we save the listing identifier, reason and details; your email is optional. If you join the alert waiting list, we save your email, opportunity interests, region preference and the time you agreed to join.
Email alert status
The signup is currently a waiting list only. No email delivery provider is connected, and JobLink does not send vacancy digests. After connection, new subscribers will receive a confirmation message with a 24-hour link before any opportunities are mailed. We store a one-way hash of temporary confirmation tokens, consent information and, when alerts are sent, the last delivery time. We share the email address with our delivery provider only to send requested messages. You can remove your address on the alerts page.
Basic website analytics
We count page views and clicks on official opportunity links to understand what visitors use. Those counters contain a date, page label, event type and total, without storing names, email addresses or visitor IP addresses in the analytics tables. The counters do not identify unique people. Our hosting provider may independently process technical connection data for security and service operation.
How we use and protect information
We use form submissions for editorial work, addressing reports and preparing requested alerts. Only the authorised editorial account can view private submissions through the dashboard. We do not sell subscriber lists. We keep submissions until they are no longer needed for their purpose; there is not yet an automatic deletion schedule. You may request review, correction or deletion through our contact form.
External websites
When you follow a recruitment or funding link, the destination site's own privacy notice and practices apply. We cannot control those sites. Please do not send passports, bank information, passwords or other sensitive personal documents through our forms.
Changes and questions
We may update this notice as the service develops, including before activating any email delivery or advertising. To ask a question or exercise a privacy request, choose “Privacy request” on the contact page.
